Eric Schmidt Announces Plans to Release Google (GOOG) Tablet Within Next 6 Months
During an interview with an Italian newspaper, Corriere della Sera, Google's (Nasdaq: GOOG) chief executive officer, Eric Schmidt, noted the company has plans to release its own tablet within the next six months.
Mr. Schmidt also noted the company continues to work on its mobile communication software and plans on releasing something for its Android operating system that will be fairly similar to Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) Siri software.
