Gafisa SA (NYSE: GFA) shares are moving higher on increased volatility Thursday following an advisory filing made earlier by Glass Lewis & Co.
Implied volatility on the stock is up 9.8 percent to 107 percent, which is 250 percent better than the trailing historical average over the last year.
Shares are 5 percent better on the session.
In general, Glass Lewis said its recommends "approval by shareholders of all proxy items proposed for Gafisa’s Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) and Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) on May 11, 2012." For more, click here.
