Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg To Pass George Soros at 7th Richest American, Could Easily Takeover 4th Spot
Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg is about to find himself in some elite company. Namely at the top of the list of richest American's.
If the Facebook IPO comes in at the high end of the expected $75-$100 billion valuation range, Zuckerberg will be vaulted to number 7 on the Forbes 400 list with $24 billion in wealth, passing George Soros.
He would also be very close to passing the Koch brothers ($25 billion each) and the Christy Walton family ($24.5 billion) for the number 4 spot.
Bill Gates is no. 1 at $59 billion, Warren Buffett no. 2 at $39 billion and Larry Ellison is no. 3 at $33 billion.
If Facebook's IPO does well, Zuckerberg would easily take the fourth spot and could even move himself into the top three.
