ETF Movers: Biotech ETFs On the Moves Following ImClone Offer
ETF Movers:
SPDR S&P Biotech (AMEX: XBI) is 5% higher following Bristol-Myers's (NYSE: BMY) $60 takeover offer from Imclone (Nasdaq: IMCL). Other biotech ETFs are higher: iShares Nasdaq Biotechnology (IBB) +2.6% and Biotech HOLDRs (AMEX: BBH) +0.8%.
Market Vectors Coal ETF (NYSE: KOL) is 3% lower today
Market Vectors Steel ETF (AMEX: SLX) is 2.6% lower today following two sessions of upside moves following strong earnings results from some steel companies.
iShares Dow Jones US Healthcare Provider (NYSE: IHF) is 2.4% higher.
Market Vectors Gold Miners ETF (AMEX: GDX) is 1% higher as gold rebounds 1% today.
