DreamWorks (DWA) CEO Katzenberg Thanks Tesla (TSLA) CEO Musk for Saving His Life

DreamWorks Animation (Nasdaq: DWA) CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg lauded Tesla Motors (Nasdaq: TSLA) and CEO Elon Musk following an accident in Beverly Hills on October 19th.

The Hollywood Reporter said late Monday that Katzenberg spoke at the GLSEN's Respect Awards on October 23rd. The executive commented at the event, Thank you, Elon Musk — you saved my life.

Katzenberg continued, I shattered my arm and wrist and destroyed the car ... It was pretty bad. It was a big surgery and not fun.

Musk responded to the compliment with the following Twitter post:

Compliment from Jeffrey is much appreciated, but the people of Tesla deserve all the credit
