Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL), American Airlines (Nasdaq: AAL), United Continental (NYSE: UAL), and other air carriers are said to be restricting and/or removing schedule and fare information from online travel websites.
The Travel Technology Association released a study Wednesday highlighting the effort by the carriers and includes what sort of economic impact it might have on the online travel segment.
Websites include Priceline (Nasdaq: PCLN), Orbitz (NYSE: OWW), Expedia (Nasdaq: EXPE), TripAdvisor (Nasdaq: TRIP), and others.
