Comverse Tech (CMVT) Volatility Up as Shares Move Higher Following Q1 Miss

Comverse Technology (Nasdaq: CMVT) shares are showing increased volatility Thursday as the stock is crawling its way back to neutral, bit by bit.
According to market data, option implied volatility is up 3.5 percent from Wednesday's close, which shares down 3.9 percent on the session.
Notably, Comverse was down 11 percent at one point.
The company reported first-quarter loss of 15 cents per share on revs of $343.7 million, missing views calling for EPS of 11 cents and revs of $379.8 million.
