China's Xiaomi Aims to Take on Apple's (AAPL) iPhone 6 Plus

Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) is on watch as Xiaomi looks to take on the hot-selling iPhone 6 Plus smartphone. The following was posted to Mi Singapore's Facebook page earlier Thursday:

Introducing the most epic flagship phone of the year — the Mi Note.

- 5.7” Sharp/JDI Full HD display
- 3D curved Gorilla Glass 3 with metal frame
- Snapdragon 801 2.5GHz, Adreno 330, 3GB RAM
- Sony 13MP camera f/2.0, optical image stabilisation (OIS)
- 4MP front camera with large 2-micron pixels
- 24-bit/192kHz Hi-Fi audio system for true sound representation
- Dual 4G SIM (micro/nano), Dual Standby
- 3000mAh lithium-ion battery, Quick Charge 2.0

The Mi Note was officially launched in Beijing by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun, though the Mi Singapore gives a concise breakdown of the smartphones features. The 16-MB version will sell for 2299 yuan (about $371).
