Charles Schwab Enters ETF Market With Four Commission-Free Options

Today, Charles Schwab (Nasdaq: SCHW) launched its first four ETF products with an additional four coming in December.

The ETFs from Schwab are unique in that they will offer commission-free trading for Schwab customers. The new Schwab ETFs also have some of the lowest operating expense ratios on the market.

Schwab's First ETFs:


  • Schwab U.S. Broad Market ETF (NYSE: SCHB)
  • Schwab U.S. Large-Cap ETF (NYSE: SCHX)
  • Schwab U.S. Small-Cap ETF (NYSE: SCHA)
  • Schwab International Equity ETF (NYSE: SCHF)


Schwab's ETFs expected to launch in December:

  • Schwab U.S. Large-Cap Growth ETF (NYSE: SCHG)
  • Schwab U.S. Large-Cap Value ETF (NYSE: SCHV)
  • Schwab International Small-Cap Equity ETF (NYSE: SCHC)
  • Schwab Emerging Markets Equity ETF (NYSE: SCHE)
