Buffett on CNBC Says Not Looking to Invest in Oil Sands Companies
Appearing on CNBC's Squawk Box, Warren Buffett, discussing his recent visit to the Alberta Oil Sands with Bill Gates, said he is "not actively looking to invest in any tar/oil companies".
The speculation was that the two prominent figures could take stakes in an oil sands company. Stocks such as Canadian Natural Resources (NYSE: CNQ) and Oilsands Quest (AMEX: BQI), a Jim Cramer favorite, saw pops on the news.
