BIS in south africa
BlackBerry failure was not to be able to upgrade their bis servers so that the monster speed of bb10 would prove to be a challenge to iphone 5 and Samsung s3... for me this was a terrible failure because most people preferred BlackBerry because of its affordable Internet service in south Africa, not all of us are will to compromise the price for the speed... they should very made this optional....
You clearly haven't used the OS
I ordered a z10 on eBay from Canada the day it came out hoping it would be great. It was terrible.... BB 10 will fail they are way to late to the party
Haha, funny and will never happen. BB10 will dominate.
I respect companies and people trying to push technology to its limits then introduce new innovations, something we've witnessed BlackBerry do with its most powerful mobile OS in the world, the BB10.
But listening to people talk about BB should go full Android is complete nonesense.
Android is a malware infested OS, un-secure and slow.
BlackBerry's QNX RTOS (Real Time Operating System) is the future and this is where BlackBerry will eventually dominate. QNX runs defence systems. nuclear power plants, medical compenents, automotive. Anything mission critical.
You will never find Android or iOS run these things, because they were crash and burn.
BlackBerry is back with BB10 and its here to stay.
best of both worlds
Why not just get a BB10 phone that can run Android apps? You get the best of both worlds then.
Does Woz seriously believe there's only room for 2 smartphone OS to service 2 billion customers? I suspect he would like it that way, not a very credible source.
