Always wanted to try out the new BlackBerry 10 operating system, but were afraid of the costs to switch or two-year commitment with your carrier? BlackBerry (Nasdaq: BBRY) has you covered.
BlackBerry has said it planned an aggressive marketing strategy for BB10, with ads on popular websites allowing visitors to interact with the new platform. But, that only goes so far and may not give all users enough incentive to change over.
What if you could try BB10 on your current handset? Reports out Wednesday have BlackBerry attempting just that. If you visit BlackBerry's 'Glimpse' (here) on a Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) Android or Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) iOS device, you'll be able to really interact with BB10. Features of the demo include BlackBerry's predictive keyboard, BlackBerry Messenger, and more.
BlackBerry ended the session down just 0.7 percent.
