Apple (AAPL) Trims iPhone Prices in Japan by ~10%

Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) is said to have cut the price on its iPhone lineup in Japan by about 10 percent across the board.

9to5mac noted the change on Friday.

One example is the 16 GB iPhone SE. The price dropped from ¥52800 down to ¥47800, or $483 down to $437.

The following price changes were noted:

iPhone 6s 16GB: ¥78,800 (previously ¥86,800)
iPhone 6s 64GB: ¥89,800 (previously ¥98,800)
iPhone 6s 128GB: ¥101,800 (previously ¥110,800)

iPhone 6s Plus 16GB: ¥89,800 (previously ¥98,800)
iPhone 6s Plus 64GB: ¥101,800 (previously ¥110,800)
iPhone 6s Plus 128GB: ¥113,800 (previously ¥122,800)

iPhone 6 16GB: ¥67,800 (previously ¥74,800)
iPhone 6 64GB: ¥78,800 (previously ¥86,800)

iPhone 6 Plus 16GB: ¥78,800 (previously ¥86,800)
iPhone 6 Plus 64GB: ¥89,800 (previously ¥98,800)

iPhone SE 16GB: ¥47,800 (previously ¥52,800)
iPhone SE 64GB: ¥59,800 (previously ¥64,800)
