Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) is said to have entered a real estate deal in Sunnyvale, California, amid construction of a brand-new world headquarters.
According to Re/code, Apple inked an agreement with Landbank Investments for a spot in the firm's Central & Wolfe campus. The project will be around 777,000-square-feet and it isn't clear how much of that Apple will be leasing, though its said to be enough for around 3,000 employees.
Sunnyvale is located just to the southwest of Palo Alto, Mountain View, and San Mateo (home of GoPro), while still only a five-mile drive north from Cupertino.
Shares of Apple are indicated for a higher open Friday.
