Amazon (AMZN) Tells iOS Users Not to Update Kindle App to Latest Version (AAPL)

Amazon.com (Nasdaq: AMZN) is warning Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) iOS users not to update to the latest Kindle app.
According to the iTunes listing and TUAW, the latest Kindle update, version 3.6.1, may erase your entire Kindle library. Under "What's New in Version 3.6.1" is listed:
There is a known issue with this update. If you are an existing Kindle for iOS user, we recommend you do not install this update at this time.
Coincidentally, Amazon made its Amazon Cloud Player available for the Apple iPad and iPad mini today.
Shares of Amazon are down about 0.5 percent in early trading.
