J. Crew Group, Inc. (NYSE: JCG) 18% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.32, versus the analyst estimate of $0.11. Revenue for the quarter was $345.8 million, versus the consensus of $322.11 million. Same store sales fell 5% during the quarter. Sees Q2 EPS of $0.08-$0.12, versus the consensus of a loss of $0.02.

Esterline Technologies (NYSE: ESL) 12.3% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.85, versus the analyst estimate of $0.96. Revenue for the quarter was $359.5 million, versus the consensus of $371.05 million. Sees FY09 EPS of $3.00-$3.20, versus the consensu sof $3.66.

Altair Nanotechnologies Inc. (NASDAQ: ALTI) 11.2% HIGHER; announced a $3.8 million contract award from the Office of Naval Research. This award is for the continued research and design of Altairnano's large-scale nano lithium titanate energy-storage systems for possible use as an uninterruptible power supply on Navy ships.

Jamba, Inc. (NASDAQ: JMBA) 10% LOWER; reports a Q1 loss of $0.19, 8 cents worse than estimates. Revenues were $88.9 million vs. $87.92 million consensus. (NOTE - only 1 analyst) Click here for the full report.

FiberNet Telecom Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: FTGX) 7.9% HIGHER; announced today that it has entered into a definitive Agreement and Plan of Merger with Zayo Group, LLC and Zayo Merger Sub, Inc. Each share of FiberNet Telecom Group, Inc. common stock issued and outstanding immediately prior to the effective time of the merger will be entitled to receive $11.45 in cash (subject to potential adjustment under the merger agreement)

Kilroy Realty Corporation (NYSE: KRC) 6.7% LOWER; announced that it has commenced a public offering of 6,000,000 shares of common stock. In addition, the company expects to grant to the underwriters for the public offering a 30-day option to purchase up to 900,000 additional shares of common stock to cover overallotments, if any. Iteris, Inc. (Amex: ITI) 6.4% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.23 vs. consensus of $0.03. Revenues were $16.4 million vs. $18.24 million consensus.

Omnivision Technologies (Nasdaq: OVTI) 5.9% HIGHER; reports Q4 non-GAAP loss of $0.30, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.33). Revenue for the quarter was $89.1 million, versus the consensus of $68.24 million. Sees Q1 sales of $90-$100 million, versus the consensus of $74.37 million. Loss for the quarter is expected to be in the range of $0.07-$0.16, which compares to the Street estimate of a loss of $0.23.

Marvell Technology Group Ltd. (Nasdaq: MRVL) 3.7% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.05 versus the analyst estimate of $0.05. Revenue for the quarter was $521.4 million, versus the consensus of $517.39 million.

Itron, Inc. (NASDAQ: ITRI) 3.6% LOWER; announced the sale of 2.75 million shares of its common stock pursuant to an underwriting agreement with Canaccord Adams acting as the lead, book-running manager and Stephens Inc. acting as co-manager. The last reported sale price of our common stock as reported by the Nasdaq Global Select Market on May 28, 2009 was $55.81 per share.

Novell, Inc. (Nasdaq: NOVL) 2.7% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.08, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.06. Revenue for the quarter was $216 million, versus the consensus of $217.99 million.
