Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (NYSE: ACS) announced a multi-year extended contract with the city of Riverside, California to provide information technology outsourcing to support the city's computer operations and geographic information services. The total value of the extended IT contract is $50 million, if all option years are exercised.
The base contract is for four years, with three two-year renewal options also available. Under the contract, ACS provides IT support for the city's help desk, desktop, system and network operations and supports its applications and implementation.[SM]
