Oracle (ORCL) Leads S&P 500 Lower, While Coca-Cola (KO) Tops Dow

Oracle Corp (Nasdaq: ORCL) is the lower in the S&P 500 today, down about 9.7 percent following its Q3 EPS miss.

Winning the S&P was Ross Stores (Nasdaq: ROST) ended the session up 3.4 percent following its own quarterly report.

Dow Jones' big winner was Coca-Cola following plans to cut 1 percent of its U.S. workforce. Shares ended 0.5 percent better Thursday.

The biggest drop for the Dow came from Cisco Systems (Nasdaq: CSCO), which slipped 3.8 percent amid an FBR Capital downgrade earlier.

Overall, the S&P 500 finished down about 13 points and the DJIA fell 90 points on the session.
