Investools Inc. (Nasdaq: SWIM) 39% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.17, 3 cents lower than the analyst estimate of $0.21. Revenues for the quarter were $91 million, versus the consensus of $90.48 million. Also, a number of downgrades.

Vanda Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: VNDA) 22% HIGHER; Cairs Starts at Buy, $22 target

Town Sports International (Nasdaq: CLUB) 20% HIGHER; Reports Q1 EPS fo $0.18, above the consensus of $0.15. $25M buyback. Also stock was upgarded a William Blair.

NetSuite Inc. (NYSE: N) 17% LOWER; reports a Q1 loss of $0.01, 1 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.02). Revenues for the quarter were $34.1 million, versus the consensus of $33.70 million. Sees FY08 loss of $0.04-$0.01, versus the consensus of ($0.02).

S1 Corporation (Nasdaq: SONE) 17% HIGHER; reports Q1 GAAP EPS of $0.09, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.07. Revenues for the quarter were $54.7 million, versus the consensus of $51.44 million. Now expect 2008 revenue of $220 to $226 million and Adjusted EBITDA of $41.5 to $43.5 million." (FY08 revenue consensus is $218.74 million).

Magma Design Automation, Inc. (Nasdaq: LAVA) 15.9% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.17, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.16. Revenues for the quarter were $55 million, versus the consensus of $57.08 million. Sees Q1 7-9 cents versus 14 cents.

MicroStrategy (Nasdaq: MSTR) 15% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.74 (excluding $0.07 loss from discontinued operations) vs. consensus of $0.96. Revenues were $83.54 million vs. consensus of $84.4 million.

Sun Microsystems Inc. (Nasdaq: JAVA) 15% LOWER; Reported a Q3 loss of $0.04, or breakeven ex-items, well below the consensus of a $0.18 profit. Revenues came in at $3.266 billion, versus the consensus of $3.38 billion. Sun Microsystems also announced they are cutting 1,500 to 2,500 jobs.

comScore (Nasdaq: SCOR) 14% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.18, 8 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.10. Revenues for the quarter were $26.4 million, versus the consensus of $26.1 million. Sees Q2 EPS of $0.16-$0.17, versus the consensus of $0.12. Also sees FY08 EPS of $0.75-$0.80, versus $0.50.

Simpson Manufacturing (NYSE: SSD) 13% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.17, 10 cents worse than the analyst estimate of $0.27. Revenues for the quarter dropped 13.2% (over prior year) to $167.7 million, versus the consensus of $184.72 million.

Barnes Group (NYSE: B) 13% HIGHER; reports Q1 earnings of $0.61 per share, above the consensus of $0.53. Revenues came in at $388.6 million, versus the consensus of $381.2 million. Sees FY08 EPS of $2.30-$2.39 versus the consensus of $2.24.

KBR Inc. (NYSE: KBR) 12% HIGHER; reports Q1 earnings of $0.58 per share, which may not compare to the consensus of $0.34. Revenues came in at $2.5 billion, versus the consensus of $2.3 billion.

Secure Computing (Nasdaq: SCUR) 11% LOWER; reports Q1 non-GAAP EPS of $0.07, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.07. Revenues for the quarter were $65.7 million, versus the consensus of $65.91 million. On a non-GAAP basis for the second quarter of 2008, revenues are expected to be between $63 and $67 million and non-GAAP EPS is expected to be between $0.04 and $0.07. (Q2 revenue consensus is $69.66 million and EPS consensus is $0.09)

Dolby Labs (NYSE: DLB) 10.8% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.49, 7 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.42. Revenues for the quarter were $172.6 million, versus the consensus of $159.13 million.

Jones Soda (Nasdaq: JSDA) 10% LOWER; Piper Jaffray downgrades Jones Soda from Neutral to Sell

Moldflow Corporation (Nasdaq: MFLO) 10% HIGHER; Autodesk, Inc. (Nasdaq: ADSK) signed a definitive agreement to acquire Moldflow for $22 per share, or approximately $297 million, less the amount in Moldflow's cash balance at the time of closing and proceeds from options exercises.

Dynamic Materials (Nasdaq: BOOM) 9% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.42, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.41. Revenues for the quarter were $58.4 million, versus the consensus of $59.56 million.

Novatel Wireless (Nasdaq: NVTL) 9% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.14, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.13. Revenues for the quarter were $91.3 million, versus the consensus of $90.88 million.

Cabela's (NYSE: CAB) 9% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.15, 10 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.05. Revenues for the quarter were $535.5 million, versus the consensus of $534.55 million.

Photon Dynamics (Nasdaq: PHTN) 8% HIGHER; reports Q2 non-GAAP EPS of $0.23 (GAAP EPS of $0.21), 9 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.14. Revenues for the quarter were $45.1 million, versus the consensus of $43.50 million. The Company estimates revenue for the third quarter of fiscal 2008 to be between $41.0 and $45.0 million, with earnings per diluted share between $0.20 and $0.24 on a GAAP basis. (Q3 revenue consensus is $41.00 million and EPS consensus is $0.18).

EV3 (Nasdaq: EVVV) 7% LOWER; reports Q1 loss of $0.09 per share, below the consensus of a $0.03 loss. Revenues came in at $101.3 million, versus the consensus of $101.6 million. Sees Q2 loss of $0.06-$0.09 versus the consensus of $0.00. Sees FY08 EPS of $0.00-0.05 versus the consensus of $0.07.

Cirrus Logic (Nasdaq: CRUS) 7% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.06, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.05. Revenues for the quarter were $44.8 million, versus the consensus of $45.65 million. Sees Q1 revs of $41-$45 million, versus the consensus of $47.6 million.

Bebe Stores (Nasdaq: BEBE) 5% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.10, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.09. Revenues for the quarter were $151.7 million, versus the consensus of $149.89 million. Sees Q4 EPS of $0.15-$0.19, versus the consensus of $0.19.
