Peabody Energy (NYSE: BTU) today announced that its Board has approved a 17% increase in its quarterly dividend from $0.06 to $0.07 per common share, payable on Nov. 27, 2009, to holders of record on Nov. 5, 2009.
The ex-dividend date is November 3.
The dividend yield moves from 0.55% to 0.64%.
