In a 13-F filed by Carl Icahn's Icahn Capital, it showed a new stake in Guaranty Financial (NYSE: GFG). As of December 31st, 2007, Icahn Capital showed a 1.15M share stake in Guaranty Financial.
Guaranty Financial Group is a subsidiary of Temple-Inland which Icahn also has a stake in.
On February 26, 2007, Temple-Inland announced a transformation plan that included, among other things, spinning off Guaranty Financial Group.
