Fuel Tech (FTEK) Receives Air Pollution Control Contracts Totaling $2.5 Million
Fuel Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ: FTEK) announced receipt of multiple air pollution control contracts totaling $2.5 million.
Principal among these were several orders for HERT High Energy Reagent Technology systems, which utilize Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction (SNCR) for nitrogen oxide (NOx) control. These initiatives include an equipment order by a Midwestern utility in response to the Clean Air Interstate Rule (CAIR), as well as orders by two Northeastern utilities, one for a HERT system upgrade and the other for a HERT system demonstration.
