Expeditors International of Washington, Inc. (NASDAQ: EXPD), today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a semi-annual cash dividend of $0.19 per share, a 19% increase from the $0.16 per share semi-annual dividend declared in 2008. The dividend will be payable on June 15, 2009 to shareholders of record as of June 1, 2009.
With shares of EXPD closing at $33.70 today, the raised dividend will yield 1.13%, up from 0.90% previously.
