Two Sweepstakes Winners Also Chosen to Cheer on Their Favorite Driver from the Pits as Challenge Concludes in Talladega Oct. 31

FAIRFIELD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Copart, Inc. (NASDAQ: CPRT), a leading online vehicle auction company, has upped the stakes in the Copart Challenge of Champions by announcing it will donate $5,000 to the winning driver's favorite charity.

Copart sponsors two Truck Series champions - the No. 33 Copart truck driven by Ron Hornaday Jr., the 2007 champion, and the No. 30 Copart Tundra driven by Todd Bodine, the 2006 champion. The two champions have raced Copart-sponsored trucks three times each over the course of five truck series events in the Copart Challenge of Champions, and will both race a fourth time in Copart trucks during the race in Talladega Saturday, Oct. 31.

The Copart driver who has accumulated the most points while driving a Copart truck during the specified races will win the Challenge and receive a trophy and $5,000 to donate to their favorite charity. The trophy and check will be presented after the Talladega race. Bodine's charity is the American Cancer Society and Hornaday's is Victory Junction, a camp for chronically or terminally ill children.

Currently Hornaday leads the challenge 530 points to Bodine's 424 points. However, with a possible 195 points available for each race, it is still anyone's Challenge to win.

"I'm looking forward to see who wins the Copart Challenge of Champions," Hornaday said. "It's been a tight race between Todd and me for the Copart Challenge of Champions trophy."

"You know every time you race Ron he's giving it all he's got, 110 percent," added Bodine. "If you can end up beating him, you've accomplished a lot. Ron's a great racer, a veteran and well established."

But it isn't just the drivers who win in this contest. Two race fans - Sheryl Montavan of Rockford, Illinois, and Darlene Coleman of Beloit, Wisconsin - have been chosen to receive a VIP race weekend in Talladega to cheer on their favorite driver who they voted for at www.copart.com in the Copart Challenge of Champions Sweepstakes.

Montavan will cheer on Hornaday, while Coleman will root for Bodine - both from their favorite driver's pits. The race fan whose driver wins the Challenge will also receive autographed memorabilia from her driver and lifetime status as a Copart member.

"Copart is proud to be able to sponsor this Challenge and to donate money to one of these worthy causes," said Copart President Jay Adair. "Both of these drivers are champions in my book, and it has been an honor to sponsor them both and watch them in this friendly competition. I wish them both luck and look forward to an exciting finish to the Copart Challenge of Champions in Talladega!"

Copart sells more than 1 million cars per year and has more than 50,000 vehicles to choose from each day including classics, early and late model cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, boats, snowmobiles, jet skis and recreational vehicles. Copart sells vehicles in an online auction, in which people bid against each other to get a great deal. The highest bidder wins the auction and just like in the Copart Challenge of Champions, winning is awesome!
