Continental Resources (NYSE: CLR) shares are higher Monday following disclosure late Friday of a large insider purchase.
According to a Form 4 filed with the U.S. SEC, CEO Harold Hamm bought 100,000 shares of the stock on May 16th. Based on the average transaction prices, gross value of the trades were about $7.17 million.
Following the purchases, Hamm holds an aggregate of 123,259,048 shares directly.
Continental Resources stock is up about 4 percent Monday morning.
