Blackstone Group (BX) Officer Solotar Buys 20K Shares

The Blackstone Group (NYSE: BX) Sr Managing Dir, Public Mkts, Joan Solotar, bought 20,000 shares on 11/14 at $7.23, which encompases her entire stake in the company.

Shares of Blackstone are flat today at $6.34, which is near its 52-week low of $6.13. The 52-week high is $24.26.

The Blackstone Group L.P., together with its subsidiaries, provides alternative asset management and financial advisory services worldwide.

believe me she didn't buy any, the 20K was given to her... so she has nothing to lose and a lot to gain if the price per share go up....or is this another martha stewart in reverse

I'm amazed that purchases of 10 & 20K make headlines. I lost more than that and got out at 24.
