Avery Dennison Corporation (NYSE: AVY) announced the appointment of Richard W. Hoffman to the position of senior vice president and chief information officer, effective October 1, 2008.
Prior to joining Avery Dennison, Hoffman served as president and chief executive officer for Hyundai Information Services North America (HISNA), a stand-alone shared services company owned by Hyundai Motor America and Kia Motor America. Prior to HISNA, he worked at Dole Food Company, Cummins, Inc., Yamaha Motor Corporation, Digital Equipment Corporation and Embassy Communications.
