According to a filing with he U.S. SEC late last Friday, Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) new SVP Daniel Riccio has already unloaded quite the sum. Riccio sold about 14,562 shares last Thursday and 5,664 last Friday. Total gross proceeds from the sales were about $10,713,488
Riccio also gifted 1,000 shares to a charitable donation.
Riccio was promoted to his new position in August. None of the stock sold was granted under options, but Riccio was awarded 75,000 shares of restricted stock at the time. Those shares will vest in three, 25,000 share blocks: August 2013, April 2015, and August 2016.
Shares of Apple are indicated higher early Monday.
