Bill Ackman's Pershing Square Capital issued its 13F for the quarter ended March 31, 2009.

Some Notables from the Filing:
  • - Raised his stake in Apartment Investment & Management Co. (NYSE: AIV) by 7.6 million shares to 8,126,734
  • - Showed a new 1,554,315 shares stake in Yum Brands (NYSE: YUM)
  • - Got rid of his 10,824,220 stake in Dr Pepper Snapple (NYSE: DPS)
  • - Got rid of his 302,936 share stake in Sears Holdings (Nasdaq: SHLD)
  • - Cut his stake in Visa (NYSE: V) by 4.93 million shares to 2,205,464 shares
  • - Cut his stake in Wendy's (NYSE: WEN) by 14.7 million shares to 32,324,580 shares
  • - Target (NYSE: TGT) remains Ackman's largest position at about $1 billion. He is currently trying to get himself and 4 others on the board.
  • - Ackman maintained his position in EMC Corp (NYSE: EMC) at 58,619,033 shares. This is his second larges holding.
