Smith Electric Vehicles Corp. (Nasdaq: SMTH) filed an amended registration with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for an Initial Public Offering of its Common Stock. The Company plans to sell 4.45 million shares and sees an initial seeling price of $16 to $18 per share. Smith EV plans to list on the Nasdaq Global Market under the ticker, "SMTH."
The offering is being made through UBS Investment Bank, and BofA Merrill Lynch.
Smith designs, produces and sells zero emission commercial electric vehicles designed to be a superior performing alternative to traditional diesel trucks due to higher efficiency and lower total cost of ownership.
