Amira Nature Foods (ANFI) Files $100M IPO

Amira Nature Foods, Ltd. (NYSE: ANFI) filed a registration with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for an Initial Public Offering of its Common Stock. The proposed maximum offering price is $100 million. The Company plans to list on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker "ANFI."
The offering is being made through UBS Investment Bank and Deutsche Bank Securities.
In fiscal 2010, 2011 and 2012, Amira's revenue were $201.7 million, $255.0 million and $329.0 million, respectively, representing a CAGR of 27.7%. In fiscal 2010, 2011 and 2012, its profit for the year was $5.2 million, $6.4 million and $11.9 million, respectively, representing a CAGR of 51.2%. In fiscal 2010, 2011 and 2012, our EBITDA, or profit for the year plus finance costs, income tax expense and depreciation and amortization, was $21.5 million, $31.0 million and $40.0 million, respectively, representing a CAGR of 36.3%.
In fiscal 2012, 34% of Amira's revenue was derived from sales in India, and 50.3% was derived from sales in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, or EMEA, 14.3% was derived from sales in the Asia Pacific region, and 1.4% was derived from sales in North America.
Amira Nature Foods is a global provider of packaged Indian specialty rice, with sales in over 40 countries today.
