American Public Education (APEI) Sees IPO Price of $15-$17

American Public Education (Nasdaq: APEI) has filed an amended registration statement with the SEC for an initial public offering of its common stock. The Company is offering 4,687,500 shares and expects the offering price to be between $15-$17 per share. The Company plans to list on the NASDAQ under the symbol "APEI".

The offering is being made through William Blair & Co, Piper Jaffray, Stifel Nicolaus, ThinkEquity Partners, BMO Capital Markets and Signal Hill.

American Public Education is a provider of exclusively online postsecondary education directed at the needs of the military and public service communities. The Company operates through two universities, American Military University, or AMU, and American Public University, or APU, which together constitute the American Public University System.
