Alimera Sciences (ALIM) Sees 6M Common IPO Price of $15 - $17

Alimera Sciences (NASDAQ: ALIM) filed an amended registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for an initial public offering of its common stock. The company plans on an initial offering of 6,000,000 shares of common stock. They see a price of $15 - $17 per common share. The company plans to list on the NASDAQ under the stock symbol "ALIM".

The offering is being made through Credit Suisse, Citi, Cowen and Company and Oppenheimer & Co.

Alimera Sciences is a biopharmaceutical company that specializes in the research, development and commercialization of prescription ophthalmic pharmaceuticals. They are presently focused on diseases affecting the back of the eye, or retina, because we believe these diseases are not well treated with current therapies and represent a significant market opportunity.
