After-Hours Movers 6/22: AGNC, ISIL, SWHC, ADY Higher; HALO, RMBS, ATU Lower
Halozyme Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: HALO) 9.3% LOWER; today announced that it intends to offer up to 5,200,000 shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. The offering is subject to market conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the offering.
Rambus (Nasdaq: RMBS) 7.9% LOWER; lowers its Q2 sales guidance from $27-$30 million to $26.7-$27.2 million. The Street is currently looking for Q2 sales of $27.26 million.
American Capital Agency Corp. (Nasdaq: AGNC) 7.3% HIGHER; announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a cash dividend of $1.50 per share for the second quarter 2009. The dividend is payable on July 27, 2009 to common shareholders of record as of July 2, 2009, with an ex-dividend date of June 30, 2009.
Actuant Corporation (NYSE: ATU) 7.3% LOWER; announced that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of 9,000,000 shares of its class A common stock for sale to the public. In connection with this offering, the Company intends to grant the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 1,350,000 shares to cover over-allotments, if any. Actuant intends to use the proceeds from the offering to reduce indebtedness and for general corporate purposes.
Intersil (Nasdaq: ISIL) 3.8% HIGHER; raises its Q2 sales guidance from $123-$132 million to $145-$148 million. The Street is currently looking for Q2 sales of $129.25 million.
Smith & Wesson Holding Corporation (Nasdaq: SWHC) 2.1% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.14, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.12. Revenue for the quarter was $99.5 million, versus the consensus of $97.83 million.
American Dairy, Inc. (NYSE: ADY) 1.6% HIGHER; has received a letter from the SEC that the SEC's investigation into the Company has been completed and that the SEC does not intend to recommend any enforcement action. The letter concludes the SEC's informal inquiry, which commenced in 2007 and related to individuals and entities that had provided accounting or certain advisory services to the Company, including Murrell, Hall, McIntosh & Co. PLLP and Henny Wee & Co., who the Company terminated in December 2007.
