Verizon Communications (NYSE: VZ) is weighing the acquisition of a cable company, according to a report in the New York Post, citing comments from Verizon's CEO at CES. The report said the most likely targets are Charter Communications (NASDAQ: CHTR) and Comcast (NASDAQ: CMCSA).
Verizon isn't in talks to acquire any cable company.
