Unusual 11 Mid-Day Movers 4/28: NURO, WWY, SEED, SOHU Higher; XRIT, SILC, GMST, RDWR Lower

X-Rite (Nasdaq: XRIT) 34.8% LOWER; with today's extremely sharp decline, shares of X-Rite are now down about 75% year-to-date. After the close Friday, X-Rite announced that it terminated its interest rate swap aggrement with Goldman Sachs Capital Markets. The arrangement allowed X-Rite to fix the interest rate on $336.1 million of the Company's floating rate debt under certain facilities. X-Rite will now be forced to pay about $12.1 million to Goldman Sachs related to the termination.

NeuroMetrix, Inc. (Nasdaq: NURO) 26.3% HIGHER; today announced that it has received 510(k) clearance for its ADVANCE System from the U.S. FDA. Shares have spiked intraday on the news.

Silicom (Nasdaq: SILC) 24.5% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.26, in-line with analyst estimate of $0.26 and higher than the $0.22 reported in the same quarter last year. Revenues for the quarter came in at $7.7 million, versus the consensus of $7.69 million, and compared to $6 million in Q107.

William Wrigley Jr. Co. (NYSE: WWY) 23% HIGHER; Mars, Inc. announced a merger agreement with Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company in a transaction valued at approximately $23 billion, or $80 per share in cash.

Gemstar-TV Guide (Nasdaq: GMST) 19% LOWER; investors are selling shares in anticipation of tomorrow's special meeting of shareholders to discuss the proposed merger with Macrovision (Nasdaq: MVSN).

Origin Agritech (Nasdaq: SEED) 14.4% HIGHER; continues to climb today on what appears to be momentum after gaining nearly 10% in the last two hours of trading on Friday.

Sohu.com (Nasdaq: SOHU) 12.5% HIGHER; reports Q1 earnings of $0.55 per share, ($0.64 Non-GAAP) above the consensus of $0.37. Revenues came in at $84.8 million, versus the consensus of $69.3 million. Sees Q2 Non-GAAP EPS of $0.72-0.75, versus the consensus of $0.44. Sees Q2 revenues of $93-$96 million, versus the consensus of $77.43 million.

Radware Ltd. (Nasdaq: RDWR) 14% LOWER; reports a Q1 loss of $0.32, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.05). Revenues for the quarter were $22.2 million, versus the consensus of $23.65 million.

Giant Interactive Group Inc. (NYSE: GA) 13.5% HIGHER; this morning announced that its lead game, ZT Online, reached 2.1 million users today, marking a new peak concurrent users record in the Chinese online game industry.

RadioShack (NYSE: RSH) 13.3% LOWER; reports Q1 earnings of $0.30 per share, in-line with estimates. Revenues came in at $949 million, versus the consensus of $937 million.

Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) 10.9% HIGHER; Kerkorian's Tracinda Corp intends to make a cash tender offer for up to 20,000,000 shares of common stock of Ford Motor at a price of $8.50 per share.
