Bally Total Fitness (NYSE: BFT) 53.5% LOWER; Company engaged Jefferies & Co as financial advisor, sees 'Going Concern', and considers bankruptcy if it's debt isn't restructured.

Micromet, Inc. (Nasdaq: MITI) 42% HIGHER; MITI and TRACON Pharmaceuticals announced an agreement granting TRACON exclusive worldwide rights to develop and commercialize Micromet's D93 antibody with a novel mode of action for the treatment of cancer. TRACON Pharmaceuticals was founded in 2005 by Paramount BioSciences, LLC.

Hollis-Eden Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: HEPH) 36.7% HIGHER; Reports a Q4 loss of $0.29, 4 cents better than estimates.

Trimeris (Nasdaq: TRMS) 24% LOWER; Reports Q4 earnings, Amends research agreement with Roche and announces management changes.

Fremont General Corporation (NYSE: FMT) 21.5% HIGHER; Company announced that Credit Suisse has increased its committed line of credit to Fremont Investment & Loan to $1 billion, and the Company said it has received various proposals for additional credit facilities if needed to supplement the Company’s current liquidity position of $1.3 billion in cash and short-term investments.

Doral Financial (NYSE: DRL) 21.4% HIGHER; Continued recovery in sub-prime and other lenders. Also, Soleil Securities upgrades DRL from Sell to Hold.

Accredited Home Lenders Holding (Nasdaq: LEND) 21% HIGHER; Company reached an agreement to sell substantially all of its loans held for sale that are currently funded out of its warehouse and repurchase credit facilities, asset-backed commercial paper facility, and its equity. The $2.7 billion of loans held for sale will be sold at a substantial discount in order to alleviate recent pressures from margin calls.

Novastar Financial (NYSE: NFI) 20.2% HIGHER; Continued recovery in sub-prime and other lenders.

Avanir Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: AVNR) 14% HIGHER; Stock moving higher with no specific news releases. However, the stock has fallen over 55% since Jan 31, 2007.

OMI Corp. (NYSE: OMM) 13% HIGHER; Board of Directors has decided to evaluate a range of strategic alternatives to further enhance shareholder value. Company has retained Perella Weinberg Partners and Fearnley Fonds ASA as financial advisors.

Accuray Incorporated (Nasdaq: ARAY) 9.3% LOWER; Company reported a Q2 loss of $0.45. Total net revenues were $26.3 million for the quarter ended December 30, 2006, as compared to $11.3 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2005, an increase of 133%.
