DoD Awards Oshkosh (OSK) $1.06B Blast-Proof Truck Contract, Shares Soar

A release from the Department of Defense showed that Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE: OSK) is being awarded a $1.06 billion contract for the purchase of 2,244 MRAP All Terrain Vehicles (M-ATVs).

Shares of OSK have jumped 26% to $18.30 in after-hours action on the news.

Oshkosh Corporation designs, manufactures, and markets a range of specialty vehicles and vehicle bodies worldwide.
