Switch & Data Facilities Company, Inc. (Nasdaq: SDXC) 27.6% HIGHER; Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq: EQIX) and Switch & Data have entered a definitive agreement for Equinix to acquire Switch and Data in a transaction valued at approximately $689 million in cash and stock, based on yesterday's market close.

Affymetrix (NASDAQ: AFFX) 15.6% LOWER; reports Q3 loss of $0.13, 4 cents below the analyst estimate of ($0.09). Revenue for the quarter was $78.2 million, which compares to the estimate of $80.67 million.

F5 Networks (NASDAQ: FFIV) 7.8% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.50, cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.41. Revenue for the quarter was $175.10 million, which compares to the estimate of $163.74 million. Sees Q110 EPS non-GAAP $0.47- $0.49. Q110 revenue target of $182 to $187 million.

NVE Corporation (NASDAQ: NVEC) 7.2% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.55, versus the analyst estimate of $0.57. Revenue for the quarter was $6.51 million, which compares to the estimate of $6.45 million.
