Wal-Mart Stores (NYSE: WMT) reported Q3 EPS of $0.97, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.98. Revenue for the quarter came in at $110.23 billion versus the consensus estimate of $107.98 billion.
Same-store sales excluding fuel rose 1.3%. Total us comps ex-fuel were up 1.9%. Total Sam's Club comes ex-fuel were up 5.7%.
Wal-Mart Stores sees Q4 2011 EPS of $1.42-$1.48, versus the consensus of $1.45. Sees Q4 US comps unchanged to up 2%.
Narrows its FY12 EPS guidance from $4.41-$4.51 to $4.45-$4.51, which compares to the Street estimate of $4.49.
