Yahoo! Inc. (Nasdaq: YHOO) is ticking higher following a form 4 filing made with the U.S. SEC today.
The filing shows activist investor Dan Loeb of Third point acquiring 2.5 million shares from July 20th through the 23rd. Prices paid average $15.82 on the 20th and $15.67 on the 23rd, with total investment of about $39.43 million.
Loeb holds 73 million shares following the acquisitions.
Yahoo! is about 2.6 percent lower on the session in the last half-hour of trading.
