TPG-Axon Files Consent Solicitation for SandRidge (SD); Wants to Replace Entire Board

SandRidge (NYSE: SD) shares are just about flat Wednesday as hedge fund TPG-Axon filed a consent solicitation with the U.S. SEC today.
According to the PREC14A, TPG-Axon is looking to change the energy company's bylaws and replace its entire Board of Directors. In addition, TPG-Axon is proposing to change the Board every year, instead of the three-year terms currently enjoyed.
Nominees include TPG-Axon founder Dinakar Singh, Stephen C. Beasley, Edward W. Moneypenny, Fredric G. Reynolds, Peter H. Rothschild, Dinakar Singh, Alan J. Weber and Dan A. Westbrook.
