J. C. Penney (NYSE: JCP) is lifting after-hours Wednesday after large investor Bill Ackman said he thinks he can make 15x his investment. Ackman was speaking at the Delivering Alpha Conference.

Shares of JCP last traded at $20.16, up 2.3 percent.
