Bill Gross' move to Janus Capital (NYSE: JNS) is starting to attract bigger investors.
According to an announcement made by Janus on Thursday, George Soros will make a $500 million investment into the Janus Global Unconstrained Bond Fund (JUCTX), which is managed by Gross.
Why is that big news? Janus last reported that JUCTX had assets under management of $442 million as of October 31st.
While it's not the billions of AUM Gross left behind at PIMCO, it's a start, and one that Janus (and its investors) are probably pleased to see.
Shares of Janus are up 1.5 percent.
