Notable Analyst Rating Changes 11/06: GE, CBS, HD/LOW, M Upgrade; ESLR, RMD, SUN Downgrade

UPGRADES:
Oppenheimer upgraded General Electric (NYSE: GE) today from Perform to Outperform and raised their price target from $17 to $18. Sandford C. Bernstein also upgraded General Electric from Market Perform to Outperform and raised their price target from $18 to $19. Investors are reacting positively to the two upgrades of General Electric (NYSE: GE) today.

Piper Jaffray upgrades CBS Corporation (NYSE: CBS) from Underweight to Neutral. Price target increased from $12 to $13. Click Here for more color.

Bank of America upgraded home improvement retailers Home Depot (NYSE: HD) and Lowe's Companies Inc. (NYSE: LOW) two-notches from Underperform to Buy. The firm sees a price target of $29 for Home Depot, and $23 for Lowe's.

DOWNGRADES:
Citi, Pacific Crest, and Adrour Capital cut Evergreen Solar (NASDAQ: ESLR) from Hold to Sell, Sector Outperform to Sectore Perform, and Hold to Reduce, Respectively. Citi also reduced its price target from $3 to $1.

Jefferies & Co downgrades ResMed (NYSE: RMD) from Buy to Hold. Price target increased from $50 to $53. Morgan Stanley also downgraded ResMed from Overweight to Equalweight.

Howard Weil downgrades Sunoco (NYSE: SUN) from Outperform to Market Perform.
