Mothers Work (MWRK) Sept. Comps Fell 1.3%; Cuts Q4 Guidance
Mothers Work, Inc. (Nasdaq: MWRK) today announced that net sales for the month of September decreased 5.8% to $43.7 million. Same store sales for the month fell 1.3%, but increased 2.7% after adjusting for the "days adjustment" calendar shift.
Lowers its Q4 adj-loss from $0.23-$0.39 to a loss of $0.42-$0.48, compared to a loss of $0.92 in Q4 last year.
Mothers Work, Inc. engages in the design and retail of maternity apparel. It offers casual and career wear, formal attire, lingerie, sportswear, and outerwear.
