LJ International Inc. (NASDAQ: JADE) sees Q3 sales over $25 million and EPS of $0.03-$0.05. Sales at this level would represent a 22% drop in sales from the $32.9 million reported in the same quarter last year. Meanwhile, LJ reported earnings of $0.02 in Q308.
As expected, the 40% decrease in wholesale revenues was due to the ongoing recession in the U.S. The decline is expected to be offset by an approximate 25% increase in revenues from the Company's ENZO division to over $11 million.
