GNC Holdings (GNC) Misses Q2 EPS by 2c; Comps Fell 2.8%

GNC Holdings (NYSE: GNC) reported Q2 EPS of $0.79, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.81. Revenue for the quarter came in at $678.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $682.9 million.

Same store sales decreased 2.8% in domestic company-owned stores (including GNC.com sales) in the second quarter of 2015. In domestic franchise locations, same store sales decreased 2.4% in the second quarter of 2015.

GNC Holdings sees FY2015 EPS of $3.00-$3.10, versus the consensus of $3.05.
