CEVA, Inc. (CEVA) Prelim. Q3 Revenue Outpaces Expectations

October 5, 2015 7:06 AM EDT

CEVA, Inc. (NASDAQ: CEVA) announced that its revenues for the third quarter of 2015 are approximately $16.2 million, an all-time high, and above the high end of the Company's previously issued revenue guidance of $15 to $16 million. Earnings per share exceed the previously stated guidance range of 7-9 cents on a GAAP basis and 14-16 cents on a non-GAAP basis due to a combination of higher revenues and lower than expected operating expenditures for the quarter. Robust licensing demand across the CEVA technology portfolio and acceleration of shipments of LTE based smartphones powered by CEVA DSPs are driving this record high revenue.

*** The Street was looking for Q3 revenue of $15.4 million.
