Stocks Stage Late Rally as House Calls Special Sunday Evening Session
With just days remaining, fiscal cliff headlines continue to dominate trading. Thursday was no different.
After selling-off most of the session on a stark warning from Majority Leader Harry Reid (D) that it 'looks like the U.S. will go over the cliff.' Stocks rallied on news the U.S. House will reconvene for a 6:30PM ET session on Sunday December 30th.
Heading into the close the Dow is down 78, the Nasdaq is down 19 and the S&P 500 is down 9 - nearly halving earlier losses.
